Stroll down the winding, hand
carved stairway into the huge entry hallway and original Victorian doors
onto the pillared front porch. Scarlet O'Hara would feel right at
home.
|

Feel like a millionaire in the
beautiful dining room with pocket doors and simple elegance.
A picture cannot do justice to
the beautiful north parlor with original black marble fireplace, baby
grand piano and antiques throughout.
Standing in the library looking
into the south parlor filled with antiques, you will not be able to decide
what to enjoy most - the antique child's china cabinet atop the
fireplace mantle, the elegant empire sofa, or the other antique pieces in
the room. A collection of small objects from the St. Louis 1904 World's
Fair is inside the china cabinet. |

In the
massive front hall, ruby red flash glass, original front doors, expertly
crafted woodwork, and original pocket doors delight the eyes.
The afternoon sun gleams into the
library and a golden warm, cozy feeling radiates into the south parlor. |
   The library creates an
idyllic mood for relaxing, reading, playing games, or just dozing.
Outside window boxes brim with
colorful flowers peeking into the breakfast room.
Looking
out one of the eight arched windows in the belvedere,
"you can see forever." Read a book, enjoy a glass of wine, or in the evening study the star-studded skies. |
  Wile
away the afternoon on the front porch veranda where a restful breeze may
always be enjoyed, even on the warmest of days.
Finally,
the view from the pool with the
walkway leading to the back door. Guests are reminded there are many ways to
spend time at The Homeridge. With almost twenty
acres, you are free to roam or hike to your hearts content. |
